| Quick Catch Up
Sorry. Been busy as usual. Let me finish what happened last weekend....
Saturday, went mountain biking in the AM. Then went with my family to take my niece to Turtleback Zoo. They had free admission for that day to promote Essex County Events. lol. They improved the place a lot since I last been there (three years ago?) I believe it was the first Zoo trip for my niece and she loved it! Especially the penguins and aviary (where you can feed the birds!) Had an incident with an African American who was yelling "It's a Shoalin Monk" at me where I politely ignored. If I wasn't with family, I would have went to town on his ass while yelling "Ruben Studdard!" or something along those lines. Also, my brother was with me and I'm sure he would have jumped into the altercation and like I said, my niece was present. That guy got off lucky. 
Afterwards, we went to eat at a spot I used to eat at when I worked at RoseArt. So good. Then went home to get ready to enjoy the night life.
My white boy friends wanted to hit up New Brunswick as usual but I convinced them to go to the City. Of course this meant I had to drive. Oh well. Then I had another altercation, this time it was about to get ugly. And guess what, it happened to be another African American with the comments. My boys are a little racist (maybe I'll post about these guys some other time to further enlighten about them). So it was about to be ON!
One cool thing about them is we always got each other's back. And they had mine. So when the guy stepped up to me with two of his friends, all three of mine came up behind me plus two of my friend's friends. The storm settled down quickly, and one of his friends was smart enough to pull him away. The friend came back to me later in the night to apoligize for his drunken friend so everything was cool. All this over a hairstyle.
But I did get my chicken and rice fix so I was happy. The End.
Side note: New trend in Japan. Purposely swelling your skin (temporary). Oh you crazy Japanese people. lol.

I love Turtleback Zoo... when I was a kid my family used to go once a year... anyone want to go with me... pick a date and im there
